Product information "PANclear Octoxynol 10% Solution"

PANclear Octoxynol 10% Solution is a defined non-ionic octylphenol-ethoxylate (octoxynol-9) detergent for research and analytical laboratories - for cell/virus lysis, enveloped-virus inactivation studies and membrane solubilisation.

It is made with genuine Triton^™ X-100 - formulated from authentic raw material, not a re-creation - and is intended for research applications where octylphenol ethoxylates such as Triton^™ X-100 have been used.

Octylphenol ethoxylates are listed on the REACH Authorisation List (Annex XIV; sunset date 4 January 2021). PANclear Octoxynol is therefore supplied exclusively for scientific research and development, including routine analysis (Art. 56(3) REACH) - not for use in manufacturing processes. For production and GMP use, the animal-free alternative PANclear APG 10% Solution (CT-01101) is available.
