PANiPure containing 10% Human Serum Albumin (HSA) (fatty acid-free) is intended for the supplementation of PANiBoost (SO-58115). The formulation is based on PANiPure, a bicarbonate (NaHCO3)-free HTF basal medium, supplemented with 10% HSA. By supplementing the NaHCO3-containing PANiBoost medium with 30 µL/mL PANiPureHSA(10%), a buffered medium suitable for sperm capacitation and for the investigation of sperm under capacitating conditions is obtained.
The formulation of PANiPureHSA(10%) was defined by researchers at the University of Münster as part of the ProCon.MS study ( https://www.medizin.uni-muenster.de/reproductionms/proconms.html ) to ensure standardized experimental conditions as well as comparable and reproducible results across different study centers.
