Tris Buffer 1 M, pH 8.4 is a defined buffer concentrate for downstream processing.
The 1 M Tris-HCl concentrate is diluted to working strength and used for column equilibration and neutralisation - including after low-pH elution in Protein A capture and in viral inactivation. Defined pH 8.4 ± 0.2.
This makes the Tris buffer suitable for antibody, vaccine, mRNA, and cell and gene therapy processes.
